1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
These Terms & Conditions set out the terms that apply when you enquire about, book or receive music tuition from G Major Music Makers.
G Major Music Makers provides music tuition in guitar, bass, drums and piano/keys to children, young people and adults in Lanarkshire and Clydesdale.
By booking a lesson or agreeing to receive tuition from G Major Music Makers, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. LESSONS
Lessons are available in guitar, bass, drums and piano/keys.
Lessons may be provided on an individual or group basis, depending on the arrangements agreed at the time of booking.
Lessons are tailored to the student's age, experience, ability and musical goals where reasonably possible.
G Major Music Makers aims to provide lessons with reasonable care and skill and to deliver the services as agreed with the customer.
3. BOOKINGS
A lesson booking is confirmed once the lesson time and arrangements have been agreed with G Major Music Makers.
Customers should provide accurate and up-to-date contact information when making a booking.
Where lessons are arranged for a child or young person, a parent or guardian may be required to provide the booking information and appropriate consent.
Lesson availability may vary depending on demand, instructor availability and location.
4. PRICES AND PAYMENT
Current lesson prices are displayed on the G Major Music Makers website or communicated directly when making an enquiry.
The price applicable to a booking will be confirmed before the lesson is provided.
Payment arrangements will be agreed at the time of booking.
Where payment is required in advance, the customer must make payment by the agreed deadline.
G Major Music Makers reserves the right to decline or suspend future bookings where agreed payments remain outstanding.
Any applicable discounts, including group booking discounts, will be confirmed when the booking is made.
5. CANCELLATIONS AND REARRANGEMENTS
We understand that circumstances can change and will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests to rearrange lessons.
Customers should provide as much notice as possible if they are unable to attend a scheduled lesson.
Where sufficient notice is provided, G Major Music Makers may, where practical and subject to availability, offer an alternative lesson time.
Where a customer fails to attend a lesson without providing reasonable notice, the lesson may be treated as having taken place and may remain chargeable.
Any cancellation or rearrangement arrangements agreed specifically with a customer will take precedence where they are more favourable and are not inconsistent with these Terms & Conditions.
6. LESSONS CANCELLED BY G MAJOR MUSIC MAKERS
If G Major Music Makers needs to cancel or rearrange a lesson, we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible.
Where appropriate, an alternative lesson time will be offered.
Where a lesson cannot reasonably be rearranged, any payment made specifically for that cancelled lesson will be dealt with fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Consumer law provides statutory rights where services are not supplied in accordance with the contract, including remedies such as repeat performance or a price reduction in appropriate circumstances.
7. LATENESS AND MISSED LESSONS
Students are encouraged to arrive on time and be ready for their scheduled lesson.
Where a student arrives late, the lesson may still finish at the originally agreed time.
Gerry will make reasonable efforts to accommodate minor delays where this is practical, but lesson time cannot always be extended.
Repeated lateness or missed lessons may affect the student's progress.
